What documents are required for a visa application?
Whether you are applying for a tourist visa, a family visit visa, or a business visa, you must ensure that your application includes the following documents:
- Personal documents:
1. Signed passport (valid for at least 06 months) with blank visa pages.
2. 02 international standard 4x6 photos (taken within 6 months, bare head, white shirt, white background)
3. Visa application form (form 48R) filled out with full information and signed (signature on the application form must match the signature on the Passport)
4. Notarized copy of all pages of the current household registration book with the visa applicant's name
5. Notarized copy of Birth Certificate
6. Original CV certified by the local authority where the visa applicant is registered to live (Translated into English)
7. Proof of single/married/divorced status
8. Detailed family history declaration
- Financial records:
1. Notarized copy of personal account in the last 3 months
2. Certificate of account balance with a minimum value of 5,000 - 7,000 USD
3. Other financial documents (land and house registration, vehicles, etc.)
- Work records
+ Applying for visas for administrative and career sectors:
1. Recruitment decision or appointment decision (in case of holding a position)
2. Application for leave to travel (Original Vietnamese and notarized English translation - Or do it in English)
3. Work confirmation letter.
+ Applying for visas for state-managed business sectors:
1. Recruitment decision, or appointment decision, or labor contract
2. Establishment license or Business Registration certificate of the Company where you are working
3. Work confirmation letter.
+ Applying for a visa for a limited liability company:
1. In case you are the person whose name is on the Business Registration Certificate, you only need to submit the Business Registration Certificate + tax receipts for the last 3 months
2. In case you are an employee: labor contract, work confirmation and business registration certificate of the company where you are working.
3. In case you are a retiree: Retirement decision or pension book
Please note: If a minor (<18 years old) is traveling together - you need to submit a power of attorney from both parents, the signatures of both parents must be confirmed by the local authorities
Notes when using a visa service
- If you are working, you must have a confirmation of participation in social insurance with a stamp of confirmation from the social insurance where you are registered (according to the form provided by the tourist visa service)
- The file must have the original for comparison.
- Visa applicants must appear in person as instructed by the tourist visa service
