DAY 1:Hanoi - Cai Beo Cruise Port – Lan Ha Bay
08:30– Pick-up from hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter or near the Hanoi Opera House. Depart for Cat Ba via the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway.
12:00 – 12:10 – Arrival at Cai Beo Cruise Port.
12:30 – 13:00 – Check-in onboard. Enjoy a welcome drink and cruise briefing before setting sail.
13:15 – 14:30 – Enjoy a freshly prepared Vietnamese lunch as the boat cruises into the tranquil Lan Ha Bay, admiring the striking limestone karsts and islands along the way.
15:00 – 16:30 – Kayak through the calm waters of the bay or relax on a wild beach on a nearby island. This is your time to enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of the less-visited part of the Ha Long Bay region.
16:45 – 17:15 –Return to the boat and join a Vietnamese cooking class on the sundeck. Learn how to make traditional dishes like fresh spring rolls with the guidance of the onboard chef.
17:30 – 19:15 – Relax after your class and enjoy the sunset during Happy Hour. Watch the sunset from the sundeck, followed by a delicious dinner served onboard.
After dinner, enjoy a variety of onboard activities:
Karaoke session in the indoor lounge
Squid fishing with the crew on the lower deck
Bioluminescence viewing: weather and tide permitting, watch plankton light up the water around the boat
Sip cocktails or tea under the stars at the open-air bar
Overnight on board.
DAY 2: Viet Hai Village - Cai Beo Cruise Port – Cat Ba
06:15 – 07:00 – Greet the new day with a gentle Tai Chi session on the sundeck.
07:00 – 07:50 – Savor a light breakfast with tea or coffee while enjoying the morning scenery of the bay. The boat heads toward Viet Hai Village.
08:00 – 09:30 – Arrive at Viet Hai. Take a bike ride or electric car through this peaceful fishing village nestled between green hills. Observe local life, traditional homes, and enjoy the fresh air of Cat Ba National Park’s inland forest.
10:00 – Return to the boat and check out of your cabin. Cruise back toward Cai Beo while enjoying a light lunch.
11:45 – 12:00 – Disembark at Cai Beo Cruise Port. Transfer by bus to Cat Ba Papillon Bungalows & Resort.
14:00 – Depart from the resort to visit Cat Ba National Park. Begin a light trek to Butterfly Valley (Lien Minh Valley), a peaceful area surrounded by mountains and native forest. During butterfly season, the trail is filled with colorful butterflies fluttering around.
16:00 – Visit Thien Ung Pagoda and hike up to the summit for panoramic views of the island.
17:30 – Return to Cat Ba Papillon Bungalows & Resort. Free time for swimming in the pool or relaxing in the garden.
19:00 – Dinner served at the resort. Overnight stay.
DAY 3: Cat Ba – Ha Noi
07:00 – 11:00 – Breakfast at the resort. Free time to explore the garden, swim in the pool, walk to the nearby beach, or take a taxi/motorbike to visit Cat Ba Town.
11:00 – 12:00 – Lunch and check-out.
12:30 – Transfer back to Hanoi (arrival around 15:30 – 16:00). Optional drop-off at other destinations (surcharge applies).
