DAY 1: HANOI – HA LONG BAY - OVERNIGHT ON THE BOAT
07:00– Early breakfast and departure for Halong Bay (approx. 4h drive with break)
11h30 – 12h00 – Arrival at Gia Luan Port. Transfer by speedboat to the Venus junk, an elegant vessel with refined décor and 5-star service.
12h00 – 12h30 – Boarding. Welcome drink served in the panoramic restaurant. The cruise manager presents the itinerary and the safety instructions.
12h30 – 14h00 – Gourmet lunch served while cruising peacefully through the spectacular karst formations of Lan Ha Bay, a quieter alternative to the more touristy Halong Bay.
14h00 – 15h00 – Check-in to your cabin. Each room includes a private balcony, luxurious bathroom, air conditioning, and sea views.
15h00 – 16h30 – Visit to the Dark and Bright Cave, one of the bay's highlights. Bamboo boat ride steered by local villagers through a peaceful hidden lagoon.
17h00 – 18h00 – Free time for swimming in the crystal-clear waters around the boat or relaxing on the sun loungers of the upper deck.
17h30 – 18h30 – Sunset Party with snacks, fresh fruit, and Vietnamese tea served as the sun sets over the sea. A traditional Vietnamese cooking demonstration (spring rolls or bánh xèo) will take place on board.
19h00 – 20h30 – Elegant dinner in the restaurant: either a set menu or buffet, depending on the cruise. Dishes feature the richness of Vietnamese cuisine and fresh seafood.
20h30 – 22h00 – Free evening activities:

DAY 2: TRA BAU - LAN HA - HA LONG - CAT BA
05h30 – 06h00 – Wake up at sunrise over the bay. Gentle Tai Chi session on the sundeck — a peaceful way to start the day in harmony with nature.
06h15 – 06h45 – Light breakfast: pastries, tea, coffee, fruit juice.
07h00 – 07h45 – Kayak excursion to the tranquil Tra Bau area, renowned for its calm waters and spectacular cliffs.
08:00 – 09:00 –Back on board, shower and prepare for check-out.
09:00 – 10:30 –Brunch served on board before disembarking at Gia Luan port on Cat Ba island.
10:45 – 11:00 –End of cruise. Disembark and transfer by canoe to the main dock, followed by immediate departure in a private air-conditioned vehicle.
11:30 –Transfer by car to a secluded area of the island: Cat Ba Papillon Garden Bungalows & Resort - an accommodation nestled in a quiet valley, surrounded by mountains and lush vegetation.
12:15 – 12:30 – Lunch with local specialties and seafood: rice, shrimp, squid, ....
Afternoon –Free time to relax at your own pace:
- Swimming in the river or in the small natural pool in the garden;
- Reading, napping in a hammock in the shade of the trees;
- Stroll along the surrounding paths or enjoy a fresh juice on the terrace.
19:00 – Cosy dinner in the garden or at the lodge restaurant, with traditional homemade dishes.

DAY 3: CAT BA – TRANG AN (NINH BINH)
07:30: Depart for Ninh Binh – Trang An.
12:00: You check in hotel.
12:15 – 12:30: Enjoy a buffet lunch featuring local specialties (vegetarian options available).
13:30: Explore Trang An a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a 1,5 hour rowing boat ride through a stunning cave system featured in the movie Kong: Skull Island (2016)
15:30: Return to hotel by minivan.
16:00 – 16:15 Check in and relax or swim at the pool (available during summer).
19:00 – 20:00: Dinner is served at the restaurant.
DAY 4: HOA LU – TAM COC – MUA CAVE – HA NOI
07:00 – 08:00: Breakfast and check out.
10:15 – 10:30: Enjoy a 30 minute bicycle ride through peaceful countryside villages, or relax at the restaurant area take photos at the waterfall, fish pond, and lotus pond.
11:15: Visit the acient capital of Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam ( 968 – 1010). Explore the temples of King Dinh and King Le, and learn about Vietnam’s feudal history.
12:15 – 12:30: Enjoy buffet lunch at the hotel.
13:15 – 13:30: Explore Tam Coc often referred to as the “ Ha Long Bay on Iand” . Enjoy a 1,5 hour boat trip along the Ngo Dong River,passing by lush rice fields and limestone cave system ( Hang Ca, Hang Hai, Hang Ba )
15:30: Conquer Mua Cave and climb to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain for a panoramic view of Ninh Binh .
16:45 – 17:00: Transfer back to Hanoi. You are free to continue to you next destination as per your own plan.
