Night 1: Hanoi APT travel staff will escort you to the station for the night train, Boarding on a 4 AC soft sleeper cabin to travel up Lao Cai city.
Day 1: Hanoi -Bacha market - Sapa
After having breakfast, you will travel by car to Bac Ha, which is 70 km Northeast of Lao Cai. The ride is relatively flat from Lao Cai to Bao Nhai, where you will be taken through rural area. Bac Ha is the largest market in the area, situated inside the small town of Bac Ha. On every Sunday mornings, it is literally a riot of color as many different ethnic groups such as Flower Hmong, Phu La, Black Dao, Tay and Nung minorities gather to trade. After spending the whole morning exploring the market, your lunch will be served in a local restaurant.
After lunch, you drive downhill for about half an hour. You will then start a short walk to Trung Do village which belongs to Tay minority. Here you can visit a traditional Tay house then you get on the car for going to sapa where you will be over night.
Day 2: CatCat, sin chai
Enjoy the breakfast in the hotel then take a walk from Sapa towards Muong Hoa valley again to visit Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages where you can admire the magnificent landscapes. Trek through lush rice terraces towards villages, experiencing Black H’mong people’s daily life and traditional culture. Back to Hotel. Lunch at your own arrangement.
In the afternoon, Take a drive to Ta Phin village (12km from Sapa) where the Red Dzao people live to learn more about the culture, custom and their daily life. Here you have a good choice of buying woven and textile brocades which are locally hand-made. Take a visit to one of the local family to experience the true life of the Red Dzao. Then transfer to Lao Cai railway station for dinner and night train back to Hanoi.Night 3: Overnight on the train
Day 3: Hanoi
The train arrives at Hanoi early in the morning. APT travel staff will pick you up at Train station back to hotel. Tour ends
